The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier lies across the street from the Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens. It is guarded day and night by Evzones, the Presidential Guard. Much like the guards at Buckingham Palace or Swiss guards at the Vatican, the Evzones must remain completely still at all times except when they change positions with each other or exchange shifts.
