The Westin Athens has been voted as one of the Top Resorts in Europe on Condé Nast Traveller
The Conde Nast Traveler readers voted The Westin Athens number 7 out of 25 resorts in Europe and wrote, “The Westin Athens in the heart of the so called Athenian Riviera is “the place to stay pre- or post-cruise.” Set on the Vouliagmeni peninsula, and one of two properties in the Astir Palace Resort complex, it’s “away from the chaos of Athens, but close enough to see the sights.”
Landscaped grounds, a sand beach, and an Olympic-sized outdoor pool are a few of the elements that help it earn a perfect design score. Rooms are “large and comfortable,” with marble bathrooms, and some have views of the Saronic Gulf from private balconies. The restaurant Al Fresco offers Italian cuisine infused with Mediterranean flavors; the seasonal Galazia Hytra cooks contemporary Greek.”
